Suspended animation, freely allowed to walk as he chooses but decides to stay dormant and static. He's the spectator. He wants none of the glamour and superficial form of commercialized happiness served in dishes at a 5 star restaurant or test-drivable at a luxury car lot. Perception of what the world is, a bunch of nothing, you're expendable, i'm expendable, nothing that happens to us we can control or matters. He'd rather not be on his ninth-inning, alone, old, retired, when absolutely no one gives a fuck about you and everyone that did died. He accepts fate with open arms, to some seemingly masochistic as if wanting a death-wish. He knows the ineviable, we start, we finish, everything we do in between that is a blur lost in time in an era old men like to blabber about to their uncaring grandchildren.
