Good news and bad news, regarding my recent "incident"

Good news - I went to my court appointment today, and I entered a plead deal. My good academic record, my cooperation and the fact that I nearly broke down convinced the judge I am just an irresponsible person, and not inherently bad. They agreed to a lenient sentence. I have to do 100 community service hours between Tuesday (after Memorial Day) and until 6/22. On 6/23, I have to report to a detention center and will have to serve three weeks, although I can get out earlier due to good behavior. Afterwards, I have to take a few alcohol classes.

Bad news - I will be inactive for a little bit from 6/23 to the end of the second week of July (I estimate?). Although I might be out earlier, due to good behavior (volunteering roles, public service?)

Luckily, I have my assistant, Minty, working to revive the forum, and take my place as the interim leader of the forum. Until 6/23, I will still be (shit)posting here, and trying to recruit people with the assistance of Minty. Then, she will take temporary power (not admin power) to recruit and keep the forum active. Once I am released, I will continue (shit)posting!

no, there were some people in the seats on the side of the room (it wasnt like the courtroom you see on TVs), i think they were interns or something (they were writing stuff down on notepads). there was a clerk there that was typing stuff in a computer. and there were two guards or something like that there too

i had to talk from a table in front of the judge, not in some witness stand

i choose to be my own defense, considering i couldnt really fight for anything. i did point out that i cooperated with the officers, unlike others who would be too intoxicated to stay still. i also explained to him that after my first arrest (years ago), i had reformed and enrolled in a university where i have excelled
