That's one of the reasons pandora's not my joe actually, in my experience the variety in stations cut after like, 8 tracks before repeating something and I never heard much from the artist itself on it

i've honestly had better experience with finding music that way through spotify's own radio feature, its a bit less repetitive and you can skip infinitely

I literally have the perfect Pandora station it would take years before I could recreate it

on mobile, which i think is safe to say dominates most people's use of spotify, it is much more restricted (you know to rake in that big dough)

but yeah, i agree. ive found some of my now favorite artists via spotify radio.
i used to go on fuckin last fm before it fucked usa out of the deal. looooong time ago. if i remember correctly it was insanely lenient on skips. you could like, skip 20 tracks and itd suspend it for like, just one track or so. it also seemed it was a shit ton more underground friendly for some reason, don't know why that was, because you could find some insanely obscure shit that's probably long lost by now
