A lot of companies and institutions push for diversity in the workplace. I'm sure that plays a role in the hiring process.

the government doesn't mandate it though and most companies only do it to fill quotas anyways which just pumps more shit back into the economy (outside of san fran, anyways; fuck san fran)

in australia and other government mandated quota zones or places where there's social justice afoot usually what happens is you get a bunch of fucking morons who don't belong anywhere in any sort of meaningful industry and it fucks over actually qualified people

only like office jobs have strict shit on diversity i think?

australia is fucking manly as shit though in terms of manliness its about equal as the us
