for me it's more like "fictional, sapient, idealized creatures" and that's that, i just don't discriminate, though i could see why specifically them being so far removed from the problems of sex and love in reality would endear them to 27 year old neetwizards. i'm not into crotchtits or actual animals or petplay or anything like that.
