what people don't realize is when you work in something that manufactures a product, the equipment and resources you use to do so are not yours
if you want to go off and buy some of the equipment yourself to make your own product, by all means, thank capitalism that you can do it, but don't count my coconuts then say "Nuh uh! They're MINE! I counted them!" when I try to get them back from you

the difference is that in capitalism people are forced to agree to one of these contracts, supply and demand kicks in and so capitalists are more than free to shit all over their workers with little-no comeuppance, you can never work a day in your life and be worth billions. THAT'S why capitalism is bad

on that note id like to say that hanna barbera cartoons were fun but they treated their animators like shit and put out shit quality animation because of it. still fun

oh yeah, they were basically a fuckin animation factory when the late 70s n 80s came, they made cartoons for anyone with a paycheck, and given some other factors hindering animation in general in that time period, it really reflected but that's one of the reasons, ironically, I like their stuff, you get fucking casper and the space police, fonz and the happy days gang time traveling, and the template cartoon for superhero characters space ghost.
You could point out the downward curve in quality from the flintstones to the last breaths of the, idk gary Coleman and pacman show.
I don't doubt some shit went on up there though, hopefully most of em came out with success stories (Meth McFarlane for example, Andy Heyward and the man Frederator himself for a few more)
