Also, a thing called Poe's Law exists where it is hard to tell apart a parody of extremism (in your case, a transparent troll tumblr blog) and a legit expression of extremism (someone might actually believe they are 'kin, who knows?).

The reason shitty Tumblr blogs are associated with feminism is that some "social justice warriors" are rabid feminists. It is a stretch to link a troll tumblr 'kin blog with feminism though.

Well of course that would be a parody of 'kin and gender blogs on Tumblr, but Poe's Law can suggest that a LEGIT tumblr blog can be equally as ridiculous (I wouldn't be surprised if one person actually believed that, but the point still remains that it is fucking ridiculous).

Also, if you want to know about otherkin, literally anything except Tumblr is a better source than Tumblr.
