They are going into mobile games and are working on a new console. I really hope they don't become Sega 2.0, but things aren't looking good. Granted, they'll probably make tons of cash off of mobile games, but I can't really see them keeping their "identity" or whatever. They are still going to focus on console games and stuff supposedly, but I have the feeling that if this mobile thing starts selling way better, then they might put more effort into mobile.

As for the "NX" I think the idea of having everything "linked" together is cool, but I'm kind of confused as to if its a successor or a supplement to the Wii U.

The Yakuza games are nice if you like to beat up members of the japanese mafia. Sega basically squandered that too though, IIRC Sony had to tell them to make Yakuza 5.

And while it's shit, I think Sega was smart to get whatever little portion of the Vocaloid shit they could get their hands on, seeing as how that shit EXPLODED in popularity amongst weebs and is probably making them a lot of cash.

The main problem with Sega and Square Enix, as well as a lot of game making companies, is that they are too stubborn to do anything outside mobile. It makes sense, given how that's basically all the japs play now, but over here casualising Final Fantasy or whatever else just doesn't work.

the nx is a console, it's either their quality of life shit or a replacement for BOTH the wii u and the 3ds. think two systems under one brand and the handheld acting as the new gamepad/vita system link shit if you go out and buy both

and no they're not axing the wii u. if they unveil this at e3 2015 it'll come out late 2016- ie., slightly rushed industry generation refresh standard which is 5-6 years, this is 5 sharp
