no dont get me wrong dude ken hovind has no fucking clue what he's talking about but about the only way you could arbitrarily judge stupidity is through IQ and somehow i doubt hovind falls on the lower end of the bell curve

your intelligence quotient is meaningless

IQ is the only real metric by which we can meaningfully judge intelligence right now so if we made 'stupidity' of this variety illegal i doubt hovind would be within the first sweep

Well, if somebody is purposely wrong on something, and refuse to look at the pros and cons of their view, then they wouldn't be smart, right? I mean, it's OK to believe in God, but there's so much evidence for evolution, it's considered to be stupid to deny it. At least take a look at evidence of evolution if you are a creationist, don't just reject it because "it is a lie"

that would literally wipe out most of christianity in one swoop

also it opens up a slippery slope because then you'd have to pose questions such as "would it be considered 'stupid' to not believe in global warming/global cooling/climate change despite the body of evidence to support it?" and other shit like that and eventually it would just self immolate
