Alright, enough with your hatred of anime. Think of this like a logical person for a second.
Japanese school is a lot tougher than American school. The way Japan's system works is like this…

>Study like hell to get into a good High School, otherwise you're fucked
>Go through hell in order to graduate High School, otherwise you're fucked
>Study like hell for Uni WHILE studying like hell for High School, otherwise you're fucked
>Get into a good Uni or you're fucked
>Get an internship by your Junior year of Uni or you're REALLY fucked (employers will only take on interns in their Junior year of Uni, they refuse to take on Senior year Uni students in Japan)
>Get a degree, maybe get an internship (if you didn't get one, you're fucked), now try to find a good job or you're fucked
>Even now that you have a good job, hope you don't get fired/they go out of business or you're fucked again
>Don't expect to get married unless you completed all of the above. Women only take the cream of the crop in Japan, and all the failures marry into Korean or White families.

This is how society works in Japan. There are no second chances like in America, and it's extremely hard to be a successful businessman in Japan. Despite what your anime wants to make it out to be, life in Japan sucks, and the city culture that's taken over 90% of it just makes it even worse. Their agricultural industry is collapsing in on itself because literally no one wants to live in the countryside any more because all the good jobs (which won't let you get married/afford to have kids until you're 30) are in the cities.

If you fuck up at any point in that career track, your choices are garbage collector or suicide, because you're just fucked on the end of a flagpole. All the trade skills are filled with old union men who have made it nearly impossible to get into the industry unless you're the son of someone who is already in that trade skill, and a similar thing is happening with business companies in grorious Nippon as well. It's literally hell on earth, and many people have gone into depressive slumps that make things like Anime the only thing to pull them into a temporary sense of joy/complacency. There are very strict gun laws, so you can't even expect a shooter to take out a bunch of politicians and get this clear message across.

Meanwhile, Japanese women are literal gold diggers. Successful men only marry successful women, and successful women consider anything else to be dirt. Slime. Scum.

Women who aren't successful end up alone like those "funny" teachers in your school animes, or they end up marrying a gaijin and trying to pretend like they aren't a complete failure at life. Drug laws are draconic in Japan (a voice actress was pretty much sentenced to life for cocaine possession), so people who do turn to drugs to battle their extreme depression are turning to shady back alleys and extremely dangerous situations, leading to a huge increase in rape rates among Japanese women, which the government there proceeds to ignore.

tl;dr- If you think the US education/career track is a shit, try moving to Japan.

Anime sure is interesting. Because you can tell a lot about how Japan really works from watching it.
