well i mean if you ignore the fact that every valve dicksucker known to humankind thought steam was the most secure thing ever and it just got raped by something that was probably extremely silly and lead to possibly millions of dollars being lost

well the difference here is that ashley madison users had their fucking bank account info and usernames and passwords all stolen

like this is a monumental fuck up but its nowhere near the level of 'the great Sonyocalypse'

if you had your paypal linked to your steam today it was possible to actually dox folks and get some if not all of their bank account info
