Chinkerator Begs for help on how to build a pc

If i were on a budget of $400 bucks, what components would i need in order to make a computer that can run things half decently ?

with $400 you could make something like this

-any of the newest AMD A6 processors
-6GB d-d-deditated dee dee aww thwee wam
-low end micro atx FM2+ motherboard
-windows 7 home premium or standard 8.1 it's your choice
-cheap micro atx case with a basic power supply thrown in
-basic 1TB hard drive

but only if you look in the right places

however you'll need some sort of optical drive for the windows installation, but that'll probably be $25 or less in most cases

and of course, keep in mind that you will need to buy SATA cables seperately (this) when you buy OEM drives as they almost never include them
