yeah i know, i was just wondering if he spammed them so many reports, one of them went through for no reason other than quantity

However, on the 29th of December, FD sent a nice little litigation demanding that Forumotion "delete this site"

here is what we currently know about the litigation:

the IP used for it is in the 198 range, and leads to
Area: Virginia
City: Manassas

the IP is obviously a proxy so whoever it was does not want us to find out who they are, which of course implies that it is either FD or Tomoko who did it since they're the only two people who have a reason to distance themselves from their actions as it stands right now

in the slim chance that we get removed, do we have an escape plan?

most of us are connected via steam, but just in case, we need a backup

if already haven't, oaky, try and save all of the custom stuff on this forum so it wouldn't be lost in the case of total annihilation

i also have access to the litigation image and although i'm not going to post its contents since oaky is still writing up the argument against it most of what's in it is cherrypicking to the max and usually out of context so i won't be shocked if the litigation doesn't do much of anything

otx has had litigations/reports many times
they never hold up because we don't really do anything that is against the tos

bro you realize we have like six forums to fall back on, right?

we have tomoquo, otrepository, OTTD 1.0, otliberation, otliberty AND viridiaforum, just off the top of my head

we also have skype

The plan for OTTD in the event of its termination is for me to buy hosting and a domain so we don't have to deal with this again

But yes they have no grounds for the litigation because there is no sexual content on this forum and it has always been against our rules

the evidence is always nonexistant cherrypicked garbage that anyone in their right mind would see is complete and total nonsense

obviously we're going to win this but times like this provide a great excuse to archive the whole site again so if some of you folks would like to pitch in a bit of your time and help me archive all of our new threads please feel free
