building a PC

SSD and RAM arrived yesterday and I just bought the motherboard and CPU today I'm gonna build on Monday

update
build went well, here's some pictures from the day of
the second stick of ram i was planning on buying went on sale so i bought that in between then and now
i also had the fan plugged into the wrong header in some of these pictures but i later fixed that

updated, bought and installed a wireless card in this thing and a 2tb wd black drive is on its way (promo code got me $12 off)

once the drive is here i can move everything off my old desktop onto this new one and finally start actually using it

drive arrived, moved all my stuff onto the new PC, gotta organize it all and install programs though

those are some nice ass scissors

I got the same, it's only like 1.75-1.80 tb or so

stupid tidbit- apparently i gotta put my gt 730 in my new computer because the intel graphics get me 20-25 fps in eve while the gt gets me 45-50 on my old computer

i want a mechanical keyboard because mine is lame but theyre a hundred bucks for a good one and i dont have a way of justifying it right now with my limited money so itll have to wait

yeah but say you drop $200 on a video card its not like you can upgrade for $170 next year you'd end up spending $570 total

it better only be $370 because the 980ti is like $600

RX 480 looking like the much better option at the moment since every 1070 is selling for $400 minimum
