YES if you are brave enough to burn this to a disk and boot it (or run it in a VM) the os will actually start up

it has a grub bootloader that loads the smokeyos bin - no interaction with your file system

made 100% from scratch other than the bootloader because i didnt know how to do that

actually just to be safe run it in a VM for now because i havent tested it on real hardware for a while even though it doesnt do anything to the file system
