it's a states right issue here in america so for the most part while we do have a lot of anti-discrimination laws particularly in employment some states have much more comprehensive laws than others and others have none

the whole "trans bathrooms" thing is a mountain made of anthills because this hasn't been a real problem for transgender individuals from what i know, they've been using public restrooms for years
