the case against dvorak keyboard layouts

-who the fuck cares how fast you can type? as long as you can type shit legibly and in reasonable time we good
-being able to type super fast has no benefits anyways
-the layout sucks dick too
-short of actually dishing out the dough for a fucking dvorak keyboard, good luck memorizing the places of the keys, you fucking autist

i sure do love being able to type at a potential 210 words per minute it's just too bad that in the process my fucking fingers will probably be stripped down to the bone and i will have nothing to show for it short of being the next great american novelist!

the case against colemak:
-see dvorak points
-nobody fucking uses colemak
-nobody fucking supports colemak
-colemak has no benefits at all, it's just dumb shit that exists to transition you into dvorak
-NO FUCKING CAPS LOCK KEY!!

side note: closed captioners actually can't use a fucking dvorak because it can't type fast enough to caption; they use stenotypes

it all depends to what you're used to though
if you've been using qwerty all your life you'll think all other layouts are shit same with any other keyboard layout

everybody has been using qwerty since time began because everything uses it

qwerty isnt hard to type with because ive been typing since i was a wee lad

the thing with typin fast is that i can easily type 100wpm with qwerty but nobody ever finds themselves typing for long periods of time without thought (unless you're rtcity) except when copying things
