FBI confirmed to be investigating the trump campaign over alleged ties with russia

was not expecting comey to be up front about it but here we are

so just to recap here folks:

• donald trump has been under investigation since july of 2016 but this has not come up until just now
  
  
• at no point were voters informed of this possibility, at a time when james comey was talking about the investigation into hillary repeatedly, despite the fact that this almost unequivocally would have ended trump's prospects as a candidate
  
  
• republicans are more concerned with the leaking of classified information than the possibility that a foreign government has subverted democracy in our country by not only backing a candidate that benefits them, but by hacking into the emails of the opposing party and releasing them by proxy through wikileaks in an attempt to weaken them (effectively an act of outright war)

great job all around, folks

better hope the FBI is somehow lying out their ass on this or can't find a smoking gun because if they do and you voted for trump, you can pretty much rest assured you won't be living your vote down for the rest of your life
