what part of it is lacking exactly? it has fantastic piano chords, nice sounding horns toward the middle, in general the production is great and the lyrics cover the topic pretty well

that is not good music that is the rap on the level of mac b; literally the only good thing about same love is the piano chords and those are drowned in a sea of shitty drums and god awful vocals because mack makes no attempt to sing and basically speaks the fucking words

hell, i'd be inclined to say that same love is more of a POEM than it is a song, because it has all the traits of a poem and none of the traits of a song except for the drums
