it's mostly comical because it's so stupid, the idea of the people couping out the government

i thought the cartels already had power in government

they have it through corruption but corruption isn't direct and if mexico's gov collapses or doubles over the whole place is going to become somalia 2.0 because all the cartels, drug lords, mafiosos and criminal organizations are going to try and seize power instantaneously

to put it bluntly, mexico's government is the knife left in a stabbed person

it is not pleasent, it sucks cock, but if you remove that shit, everything goes to hell within a matter of seconds and the next thing you know you're dead, and that is exactly what people are trying to do down there right now

It would honestly be a shame if that happened because imo, from what I've seen, Mexico has the potential to be a good country compared to those other central american areas. A lot of the areas obviously away from central america's influence and tourist economies I've heard are nice, and I know people who moved down to Mexico to get jobs like being English teachers and get good money and good food along with nice scenery. I also know immigrants from Mexico who say that Mexico really isn't that bad depending on where you are and they miss their home country. It could potentially be a good place if the drug cartels were run out.
