the demo for euphemia sounds vastly superior to the actual song (it's not great but holy fuck it blows it out of the water) which is absolutely fucking stupid

i listened to the first one for like 30 seconds and it was bad as fuck

listen to the first thirty seconds of all of them and see the downward spiral

i listened to the last one for 6 seconds and then stopped

you really missed out on nothing but words that have no business being in a song like "homogenized" and "discontented"

i am not kidding btw they literally put homogenized in the song

I watched the first 20 seconds of that first video and that's nothing compared to the music of the early 2000's/late 90's

it's not their music that makes them objectively the worst, it's the whole set-up and gimmick + its execution and their location

combines into one big fuckstorm of awful, kid rock and limp bizkit didn't have any of that going against their music

I remember their albums OK computer and Kid A, ( I liked Kid A except for its last two songs) even The Bends from what I've heard from it was pretty decent.

Everything after apart from In Rainbows just sounds pretentious to me, except for maybe a couple of individual songs here and there.

it's amazing how the piano can make even the shittiest bands sound halfway decent

as you might expect from a shitty gaijin band that calls itself gaijin, these guys don't know FUCK ALL about japanese (or they take a FUCK TON of liberty with the gratuitous japanese they like to put in their songs)

i did my research:

they say '私 と 一緒 に 来て ください' (watashi to issho ni kite kudasai) like it's all separate, when in reality it's actually (watashitoisshoni kite kudasai), which is hilarious as fuck and probably doesn't mean a thing in actual jap

moreover, they say it completely wrong ANYWAYS, because it's wah-tah-shto-ish-shoh-nee and they say some ridiculous shit like wa-ta-shee toh ih-sho nee

also they literally cannot say (一番, ゼロ) ichiban, zero right which is absolutely fucking stupid no matter what since that is seriously the easiest shit ever to say in japanese (for the record, it's literally ee-chee-bahn zeh-ro, and they say i-chee-ban zee-roh)

i could pull out some more examples but i'm not gonna bother right now
