my parents are relatively conservative and they avoided physical punishment when i was a kid because they know how to be effective parents

i feel like i would have become a better person, had i been more disciplined. i mean, i was disciplined, but i turned out to be a fuck-up because of my arrogance

but it would only enforce the idea of me as a failure if i choose to blame my parents, instead of acknowledging that ive always had control of my life and i just chose the wrong choices

the kid shouldn't be yelling at the mom but it's also the mom's fault for not disciplining the kid enough to where he has some god damn respect for his mom holy shit
