this search.protectedio bullshit keeps popping up whenever i exit chrome so i gotta do a clean install on my computer

Sounds like its some kinda conduit. Im sure youve already tried but you cant uninstall it? Thats how i got rid of the one i had

couldnt find anything in regedit, even with hidden files shown
i found one of the files in the temp folder; though it'd probably come back if i just deleted it
