I guess that's why people move to Florida instead of California. Florida, at least for me, is more friendlier. Jobs in tourism train people here to be friendly, even if its artificial.

I didn't move to New York, I was originally from there. The nice part though.

rt i moved here because mom's boyfriend lives here and yeah i lived in both a suburb and a semi-shitty neighborhood aka poor but well supported by police and next to nice shit so theres essentially no crime

there is no part of california that is neither too hot or too cold

you either got most of california as bone dry, or upper cali-oregon border which is pretty hot in the summers and pretty cold in the winters

we obviously get snow so we get more precipitation in total, but in terms of rainfall sacramento averages over two more inches than colorado springs does, and colorado springs is hardly a dry city

New York gets a bad rap because of the city. Upstate NY is pretty nice. Amityville is pretty nice, despite the waves of tourists, and despite that it's moderately close to NYC.
