i dont believe you should have your ass locked up for 20 years over a gram but if a state doesn't want legal weed then you should respect the law.

it should also be noted that the people who mostly get caught with marijuana are
- minors who don't have a life of their own yet. usually happens in school or deals where the minor is buying. these people end up in juvy, and shouldnt be buying drugs anyway.
- actual drug dealers who the law will be less lenient to.
i know a couple. they're usually not bad people. but of course they are directly responsible for the trafficking of illegal substances. and it does not look good at all when you sell heroin and klonopin to a 15 year old (for reference the dealers i know are weed folk. i dont know any heroin dealers personally but i know a shit ton of tweakers)

most people who have their life settled and habitually smoke weed don't get caught unless someone has it out for them, and can make the decision to move to a state where weed is legal and need not fear the law. if you break it though thats fair game.
i was primarily referring to addicts in my original post which is why i said heroin. like I said I don't think you should be held on the same level as armed robbery for weed but it should be regulated where people want it to be.

except most states and most people period want legal weed now my dude something to the effect of 65% of americans support legalization and 29 states have approved it for medical use

sessions is basically calling for it to be treated as if it were heroin or cocaine

also if sessions get his way your proposal to "move where weed is legal" will not work because he wants to crack down on the states where it is legal
