looking in both directions, i think, is healthy and i usually enjoy it if only to share in reminiscing about some fun memories with my friends that i have the good fortune to still know after all these years

of course almost everyone knows i have a questionable relationship with looking back at old things, but i also enjoy seeing how most of us have learned and improved our skills, artistic or otherwise, since we were stupid teenagers - to regress, i think, is utterly pitiable and tragic and i am glad that this absolutely fails to describe anyone i care about

i certainly dont stand by a lot of the negative aspects of my old personality, which i always played up anyway to keep up the original hot-headed persona until i couldnt do it anymore, but i would be remiss to give up the honest spirit of greatness that we have always (albeit sometimes a bit ironically) spoken about

thinking about the reprehensible acts of others that i will never forgive instead of sleeping

i was literally stunned the other night when i realized we were already halfway through this year. I feel like I've been semi productive in what I've been wanting to achieve however at the same time I feel like so much time is slipping through my hands. I've been thinking about my future a lot recently because my job currently just feels like a huge time sink, just utterly pointless. I always feel like my time could be better spent doing something else yet I'm stuck there for 7 to 8 hours a day.
I think the coronavirus shit also made it feel like these past two months have just evaporated. But it's scary to me how there's so much I want to do yet it feels like there's zero time to do it all.
