my 11 month lease expires soon and it doesnt even feel like ive been here 6 months . fucked up but excited to move, looking at some really nice apartments

mostly just cheaper, the one i'm in rn is super expensive so im basically looking for anything cheaper. gunning for a specific one rn that looks nice, is bigger than the 1 i'm in now, and only 2/3 the cost, + im getting a roommate so that should help too. location is good too so im excited abt that

i feel you there, my apartment is expensive as all hell but that is the best option for me as a grad student that refuses to live with strangers

it sux cuz i had the application mostly filled out just needed info from the girl im renting w/ lol. i think worst case is im crashing on a friends couch for a week after my current lease ends though so im optimistic

good thing you at least have someone to split the cost, a good roommate is definitely hard to come by although as i said i have no desire to share my space with anyone so i pay that premium anyway

since last post roommate ended up essentially stealing $2k from me and causing another $2k in damages

just got a new roommate though

things are looking up since the last time i checked in here i think, i feel more independent and feel more like an adult. i still need to work on my life goals in a continuous rapid succession though, i wanna not be sucky at art, i wanna pile on more stuff onto my workout regime maybe, and i want to eat better somehow but its a bit difficult as the price of anything healthy is abhorrent.
