As an orangekin, I feel like I should inform others of the prejudices me and other foodkin (dumplingkin, grapekin, burgerkin, etc) face on a daily basis. Though, even I admit, we are privileged when compared to robotkin who many do not even count because they claim a part of your soul can't be something that doesn't have a soul.

My fear of prejudice has stopped me from becoming active in the otherkin community however I have searched the internet and found a prime example of hatred towards our kind.

Tumblr is a garbage site that oppresses me and other foodkin, and i do not recommend using it. I would also like to clear up some confusion you may have regarding my orangekin status.

Q: "Is foodkin some kind of vore fetish shit"
A: NO! While some foodkin might be into that weird shit, most of us foodkin are perfectly normal individuals who identify with foods in a special way and see them as a part of our soul.
Q: "So did you just decide that you were an orange out of the blue?"
A: No, It took much soul searching and looking into myself, this eventually lead me to deciding that a part of my soul was orange.

Now that those two questions are cleared up, I would like to invite you to accept us with an open mind!
