tbh i think thundertale is way too ambitious to do in rpg maker and i really don't feel like learning a new game making thing so i'll probably go with my first plan for the otx rpg(pretty much a "classic" jrpg since that's the only thing you can reasonably make with rpg maker unless you know how to script incredibly well)
