electoral college makes sure the presidency isn't reliant just on areas with dense populations so all of america - all states - are accounted for.

i don't understand how you can justify a system where the majority of the country doesn't choose who gets to be the president. it's federalist BS based on the idea that the united states is a union and not a confederation (i realize the wording there is confusing and probably somewhat inaccurate). by that logic it's a state's right to tariff other states. nope, the federation is more important than the states and if a majority of the citizens of the united states vote for a certain candidate then the largest group of people should be pleased and the states can't do shit about it because the states and the federation are different entities and a billion other reasons. one person one vote.

really it's just good that people are making their discontentment with the system known though i imagine the group doing a lot of the organizing, socialist alternative, is mainly using it as an opportunity to stay in the public eye

Cali is on our grids, and if they did legitimately secede, they'd have like no millitary, which puts them up to be annexed by our enemies, or just "annexed" by us to become a state again, which if they did legitimately secede they'd probably be begging to be a state again in the first place after a month. referencing cali as the people that legit want to ofc.
