i was pretty appalled when i saw the pitch and even the pilot but it's actually alright

it moved away from the repetitive educational show formula rather quickly which was very good for it

i have to ask why do you think adventure time is a bad show

it's been a long time since i've sat down and watched tv but from what i recall it was pretty decent

it feels like the golden age is over. no more new moral orel. no new space ghost. no new aqua teen. it feels like the hey day of OTA is over. theres less new midnight block stuff. metalocalypse got axed with basically no chance for the creators to end it how they want. i havent seen anything with the freshness of superjail since, really reruns of superjail and shit. robot chicken might as well be a corpse sustained by a needle that is life support. not to mention the amount of whoring out they do to seth mcfarlanes lazy insulting fetid bullshit, but thats old news. rick and morty is a saving grace as fucking typical that sounds, its sad that everybodys fucking saying that too, its absurd how much rick and morty gets their dick sucked. its good but people are acting like its the return of jesus christ

what else is there on as other than rick and morty and anime on the weekends

as far as animation is concerned i like mike tyson, venture bros and squidbillies as well

maybe rick and morty is overrated but i know i at least think it's completely hilarious and honestly without some of the best line delivery i've seen anywhere it'd probably be "just good"

i hate to be a commie here but if you removed profit motive from the equation we wouldn't have movies like this

if you removed the profit motive from movies virtually every movie would run at a huge loss because it's not cheap to make a movie, advertise it, and get it released

your typical movie nowadays has a budget of at least 50 mil, not accounting for advertisement which can add tens if not hundreds of millions more to that number

80% of that video is why i like the show in the first place but i should remind everyone i have not watched it regularly since we had cable in like uhhh... 2013? i read about some of the newer stuff and its weird
