steven universe fandom: the second worst fandom of the modern era

so for those of you not in the know steven universe has a fandom and it's really big and really obnoxious

a few days ago they started some shit with bronies and today they've officially managed to scare off some guy related to EqD who was planning on making a steven universe sister site because they're so rabid and hateful

yeah the shitty part s that they pander towards tumblr (literally androgenous crystal canon-shipping people everywhere)

but the soundtrack is really good, art direction is cool and non-crystal people are likable

if you say that steven universe panders towards the tumblr crowd you obviously werent there when the tumblr community literally drove the people working on the show out because they said something was canon which went completely against what tumblr interpreted it as

they fuse to form one single character though and i dont even think they can be called gay or lesbian or really anything because gems don't have inherent genders

tumblr has made me hate every fandom ever but by far the two fandoms it has made me hate the most are the SU fandom and pony fandom
