The Edazoran Unified Party believes that all individuals are equal, and that they can do as they please with their bodies. They consider the rights given to Edazorans under the Siraist Constitution as inalienable.

A major policy point of the EUP is the protection of unrestricted freedom of expression. While codified into law by the Siraist Constitution, freedom of expression has been legally challenged several times in the High Court of Edazora, and in several instances has been actively curbed.

Another part of the protection of unrestricted freedom of expression, the EUP supports freedom of religion, and as such Edazora is federally irreligious, although all its states recognize Birahe as their official religion.

The EUP strongly disagrees with slavery as a punishment in any context. Since the founding of the party, the illegalization of slavery has been one of their major agendas. This agenda was finally fulfilled in 2011, when, with the backing of a coalition of the EUP and Jadahalan Movement, the "Criminalization of Slavery Act" was passed and signed into law by Yahagar Izos.

"5. Hate speech should be banned."

As an extension of its defense of freedom of expression, the EUP considers what would by law be constituted as 'hate speech' to be freedom of expression, and disagrees with its restriction. Nevertheless, the party has failed to repeal these restrictions; the Palidaija voted 42 - 22 in 2013 against an effort to repeal them.

"6. The control of communications by government is necessary so as to prevent the spread of ideas that may undermine the stability of the nation."

Another extension of its defense of freedom of expression, the EUP is heavily against government control of communications.

9. "Blasphemy laws should be reinstated."

Although Edazora has never had any blasphemy laws, the EUP would not support them.

The Edazoran Unified Party is generally regarded to be a pro-worker party, standing for the rights of Edazoran workers. It is pro-globalization, but does not hold this view as strongly as the GDU. The EUP stands for more open borders and loosened border controls. It is not nationalistic, and does not officially support Drakona supremacy in contrast to the GDU, Jadahalan Movement, and Winds of Change.

The EDU holds the opinion that class, and not nationality divides Edazora.
