that's why i'm trying to find a way around that
as decent as rpg maker is for doing this kind of stuff, it can be a real pain if you didn't learn how to use the scripting

it's not the terrible programming though
it's largely the fact that every time i make the file i have to include the rtp which bloats up the file size ridiculously(since you guys can't be bothered to install that yourselves)
