i'm sorry for the lack of any progress related to this
been busy

thinking about changing how you get weapons
instead of purchasing a keyboard at the store, you just pick up a keyboard related to the world you visit(related being abilities/traits/etc that make sense for that world)

example 1: wiki board gives you a boost to xp

example 2: vidya board gives you a skill with a random effect(buff, debuff, attack, etc) or an increase in cash and item drops


admittedly it's easier for me to do it this way but what do you guys think
would you just prefer the keyboard store or this way

really the issue is that i'm not that great on mapping so i've been attempting to learn to do that better which is why i haven't been making much progress on the game

at least you aint mapping in 3d but yea making a good map is tough shit
it helps to have a few sketches on paper before getting into the nitty gritty

thats like saying a trapezoid is a hexagon
there is an rpgmaker 3d but its simple as shit and for a console i think
like you can make a 3d rpg game in unity but you can also make a shooter and whatever, comparing rpgms potential to unitys makes for big differences
it wouldn't be incorrect to say you could accomplish an rpgm-like game with a unity resource/template engine though
