yeah at least on my pc, steam costs very little cpu even when downloading (which i am currently doing)

currently its going between 0.1% to 1.6% cpu usage on task manager and its bjillion background processes are all at negligible amounts.

hotline miami 2 runs fine on my pc and it should over steam. but it doesn't.

yeah pretty damn sure

i should also note first few times i tried booting it up it tried installing directx, which to my knowledge i have the latest version already
i cant even get through the intro most of the time and when i do everything else is the same kinda fucked up

vista sucks its probably just your computer conflicting with steam

if it prompts you to install things you always install them because the "latest" directx version isnt what you want (you don't have it anyway its win10+ only i believe) games run on different versions of directx that sometimes computers dont already have installed
and if the intro is a cutscene then it doesnt need directx

it did once or twice, but again, why would it have to install direct x in the first place?
w/e version i have or had already worked with it

i dont think its my computer conflicting with steam since duck game works just fine

itll be on a single frame for 20 secs or so
never had performance issues like that

replayed the first episode of life is strange through steam, it's the same great game that I remember. my friend lent me his account to play the full season on xbox one, I changed his name. really hoping for it to be included in the next steam sale.

i'll tell you another alternative then, there's a shit load of computers that go for nothing on kijiji or the american equivalent of that. (craigslist?) check there, i sell and buy alot of shit on that site.

yeah.

some natives i know sell me shit for half (sometimes 1/4th) of the regular price. I don't know where they get it from, but what i do know is if it's cheap I'm buying it.
